1. About Medipeace
Medipeace is a global health non-governmental organization (NGO) based in the Republic of Korea.
Since 2009, Medipeace has worked to promote health equity by implementing global health and international development cooperation projects for vulnerable populations in Africa, Southeast Asia, Eurasia (including Ukraine), Latin America, and Pacific Island countries. Our areas of expertise include health system strengthening, public health surveillance at national and subnational levels, infection prevention and control, Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR), and maternal and child health.
2. Job Discription (JD)
- Project Implementation and Management: Implementation, monitoring, and performance management of the KOICA PMC project and other rehabilitation-related projects.
- Government and Stakeholder Coordination: Coordination and collaboration with government agencies, including the Lao Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Center for Medical Rehabilitation (CMR), as well as local partners.
- Laos Branch Operations and Administration: Support for human resources, contracts, budgeting, financial documentation, internal administration, and coordination with Medipeace Headquarters.
- New Project Development: Support for research, needs assessments, and new project development in Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) and basic rehabilitation services.
4. Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Health Sciences, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Business Administration, Public Administration, International Relations, International Development, or other relevant fields.
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in spoken and written English and Lao.
- Korean language proficiency and English qualifications (TOEIC 700 or above or IELTS 6.0 or above) are preferred.
- Strong motivation and understanding of the NGO/INGO sector and international development cooperation.
- Experience in project management, budgeting, activity scheduling, data management, and report writing is preferred.
- Experience in or knowledge of health, rehabilitation, disability inclusion, or Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) is an advantage.
- Experience working with government agencies, public institutions, or community-based organizations is preferred.
