Maintenance Supervisor

For our customer, biggest beverage company in Laos and under the supervision of our Site Maintenance Manager, Maintenance supervisor has the main task to manage a crew of 16 technicians, plan and execute planned maintenance activities (Preventive, Corrective, overhaul) for crate and bottle conveyors to reduce breakdown and improve our customer KPIs.

He must work with customer maintenance planner to manage all preventive and corrective maintenances to be performed during service windows aligned with production plan and customer priorities. He must ensure his team will execute maintenance work with highest safety standards, highest quality and compliance to time schedule to avoid delay in production restart.

Location: Vientiane capital
Salary: Starting from 8,000,000 - 12,000,000 LAK/month based on experience
Working Days: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm – possible OT weekend / public holidays

Duration : 6 months contract

Key Responsibilities

Breakdown diagnostic and troubleshooting:

- provide technical support and lead the team regarding all mechanical breakdowns for all conveyors

Service window management:

- collect all inputs from Preventive maintenance inspections from his team and maintenance requests from customer

- align with customer maintenance planner and production leaders about corrective actions during service windows - check work order creation and spare part availability from customer warehouse

- supervise service windows execution to ensure safety compliance, quality work and compliance to time schedule.

- ensure work order completion above 90% and backlog data reporting

Performance management:

- attend customer performance management meeting to report daily KPI and corrective actions - support ISS Site maintenance manager for data collection and for root cause analysis of all breakdowns

- Conduct weekly root cause analysis for machine breakdown to minimize down time

- Perform machine breakdown versus actions to ensure that all roots cause was analyzed with actions verified.

- Initiates machine improvement and corrective action to eliminate or prevent repeated machine breakdown.

- collect data and support Site maintenance manager for weekly/monthly reports

Safety and staff management

- make sure his team adhere at 100% to customer safety policy

- Motivates personnel through periodic dialogue, counseling and coaching, recognition of exemplary performances and encouraging high-level performance

- Coach Technician work on shop floor to perform good performance

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields

Language:

Proficient in written and spoken English

Experience:

- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in food & beverage industry in Maintenance Dept

- Experience in leading a team

- Good knowledge in conveying system

- Good communication skills - Work team spirit and team player

- Knowledge in health and safety standards

- Knowledge in Lean TPM

- Knowledge of PLC and SAP maintenance module is an added advantage.
